The new CSR department of the Newrest Group announced on January 18th an original contest for all employees of the Group.

The idea of this internal contest, entitled “BE THE CHANGE”, is based on its CSR charter https://www.newrest.eu/newrest-corporate-social-responsibility-charter/ where is reflected the company’s desire to contribute individually, but also collectively as a team, to the proper management of the environment.

The contest is looking to find the “Green Superheroes” of every country who have organized and implemented an action related to the following topics:

– Reduction of Food Waste
– Recycling
– Local and Sustainable Procurement
– Reduction of Greenhouse gases
– Promotion of zero plastic or zero paper policies
– Partnerships with associations
– Well-being at work
– Managerial Innovations

The winner of the contest will have the opportunity to become an example for the whole Newrest Group and to implement his / her project in the other countries of the company, in collaboration with the Department of Corporate Social Responsibility of the Group.
